Frits Philips Concert Hall located in Eindhoven was renovated by Niels van Eijk & Miriam van der Lubbe, collaborated with Philips Ambient Experience Design for exterior and interior design; and with Hypsos Soesterberg and Rapenburg Plaza for the lighting. The concert hall was transformed into a high-tech building with special concern in lighting, design, and technology. The lighting, for example, moved subtly from a high-tech wall and over the ceiling to led the guests from foyer to the hall. The main entrance of the new hall consisted of a forward-leaning glass façade in 25 meters wide and 13 meters high. Behind this entrance, there is a cultural city-foyer which opens throughout the day where peple can buy coffee and music, or just listening. The wall of the city-foyer would be consisting of thousands of LED lights, on where films, works of art and concerts would be projected. The content of the living walls realized by Gerard Hadders.
