Michael A. Rantilla is an architect of Freelon Group. He has built his own house in Raleigh, North Carolina. The house is three storeys house, which is designed to response to certain site obstructions, like zoning setbacks, a stream buffer and a steep slope. The interior of the house mostly made of natural materials such as marble, wood, bamboo, ipe. They are all widely in use. This is a rustic and modern interior look. The house has beautiful nature outdside that can be viewed from the third floor which is almost transparent. On the second floor, there are enough places to walk because of the long roof. While in the first floor, enjoy the material combination of glass with concrete outside and glass with marble inside.
