This house located in Long Island, NY, United States. The architect of this modern house, Steven Holl is inspired by the close proximity to the studio of the painter Jackson Pollock. Several free-form designs were made based on the 1949 painting “Seven in Eight.” The south side is closed for privacy because the interior is opening up to the bay and the north side is viewing the Atlantic Ocean. This house has double living room with guest rooms swirl around them. The house has the strips of white light inscribe and seasonally bend internal spaces dynamically with the daily cycle. The balloon frame construction is comparable to the strip wood sand dune fencing along the ocean.
