In an amazing natural setting, this house with unique shape and glass walls is very interesting. Designed by LID Architecture, Landscape Room House is over looking Glencar Lake and surrounded by mountains in Sligo, Ireland. The architetcs said: “The main plan was to break out from the restrictive form of the existing to create a ‘landscape room,’ partly internal, partly external, orientated to the south-west, and surrounded by the landscape.” The indoor/outdoor room is a sun-soaked space for relaxing alone or entertaining groups; for reading, lounging or dining, connected to the kitchen inside the house. The innovative, inverted roof is designed to harvest rainwater, and visually connects the home to a garden pond and the lake beyond.
