Japanese architects Suppose Design Office designed house in minamimachi 3, in Hiroshima. It was surrounded by an offset concrete shell to create a series of triangular terraces between the inner and outer walls. The minimalist house was a residence for a couple with 2 children. The house design consisted of two floors. On the first and second floors, the spaces between the wall and house were occupied with perforated steel. The terraces were created. So, the light went into the courtyards below. Rooms were located at an angle to the surrounding wall.

The triangular shape was given for the terraces and courtyards. The external wall consisted of reinforced concrete. The house made of a steel frame construction. The house design was created for a couple with two children. It involved a garage, master bedroom and entrance hall on the ground floor. The first floor had a kitchen and living space, while the second floor was the children’s bedrooms.

It was located at a place where an old shopping street and houses were still maintained. The site area of the house had only 55 sqm. It was called the box house because it had a square form. The condition made the residence kept its private because the houses were located closely next each other. A relationship between the building and its exterior elements was the unique design of the house. It had extra walls along the site.

They involved the house. It was 29 sqm as building area. The standing of the house was with angle, not parallel to the exterior walls and site. There was a gap between the walls and the inside construction. So the sunlight was coming down well entering between the two structures. The well lighting condition was created by the walls. Protecting its privacy, the walls opened environment to the outside. Because of re-designing exterior elements
