Dalia Butvidaite, Leonard Steidle, and Johannes Drechsler won the competition of cardboard installation by creating The UdK Bookshop.

This bookshop was made from 600 corrugated cardboard panels that were cut, folded, perforated, and glued together to form a massive block strong enough to sitting on.

This entire shelving unit can be easily compressed to a tenth of its full length for storage or transportation purposes.

Placed on a rectangular room, the shelving units serve as background and space-defining elements.

This design was auctioned off at the end of the four days, ensuring funding for more publications as well as continuance of the Bookshop in the coming year.
